Greg Hutto, CFP®, CFA®
Greg comes from a family of educators, and was raised in central Texas on a 300 acre farm and ranch. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from Texas A&M University, and a Masters Degree in Education from Tarleton State University. He was a teacher and coach before entering financial services in 1996.
After 14 years in the industry working for such powerhouses as UBS Paine Webber and Raymond James, he founded Hutto Retirement Advisors LLC in 2010.
Greg holds two investment designations, including Certified Financial Planner®, and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2007. Additionally, he is the founder of Heritage Tax Advisors LLC.
Greg is married and he and his wife Angie have three children. He likes to cycle, play golf, and travel with his family.
Wes Holloway, CFP
Wes Holloway was born and raised on the Gulf Coast by his father, who worked for NASA, and his mother who was a Texas public school teacher.
In 1987, Wes graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Industrial Engineering, then made his way to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1989. Later, he earned his MBA from the University of Texas of Arlington in 1995.
Before joining Heritage, Wes held a variety of jobs in the travel and transportation industry including corporate training, industrial engineer, business development, operations director and profitability manager.
Wes and Kim have been married for over 35 years. They have 2 daughters, a son-in-law and a grandson. Wes and Kim are active in their church and Wes also enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, gardening, exercising and watching college football.
Carson Perkins, Associate Advisor
Carson is from the Austin area where he attended Liberty Hill High School. While most of his family lives in Iowa, he considers Texas to be his home.
After high school, Carson played basketball at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX. He was awarded Freshman of the Year and made the Dean’s list during his time at Sul Ross.
Carson finished his education at the University of North Texas where he received his BBA in Finance and a minor in Financial Planning. Carson graduated Magna Cum Laude and made the President’s List multiple times, while also being a member of the Professional Leadership Program and working part time at Heritage.
Carson passed his Certified Financial Planner exam and is working to gain enough hours to earn the CFP designation. He enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, cooking, and playing tennis.
Jerry Horn III, Advisor-in-Training
Jerry was born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. Growing up, he worked in his father’s landscaping business, where he learned early on the value of a dollar, a hard day’s work, and following through on your word.
Jerry attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he studied Management and Marketing. His career in financial services began working with employer-sponsored retirement plans, helping individuals with withdrawals, rollovers, contribution changes, and understanding their 401(k) accounts. Whether assisting with a million-dollar rollover or helping someone access their last $100, Jerry learned the importance of treating every person with the same care and respect.
As an Advisor-in-Training at Heritage Retirement Advisors, Jerry works alongside the firm’s advisors, assisting with day-to-day operations, client communication, account paperwork, and client service. He recently earned his Texas General Lines license for Life, Accident, Health and HMO insurance and is working toward his Series 65 while continuing to study financial markets and develop as a future financial advisor.
Jerry met his wife, Audrey, during their freshman year of college. They enjoy spending time with friends and family and share a love for Andy’s Frozen Custard. Jerry also enjoys working out, movies, and anything involving a good fictional story, especially The Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Marvel, and DC.
Most importantly, Jerry values his faith and believes in helping others simply because it is the right thing to do. He strives to be someone people can count on and believes that when you give someone your word, you stand by it.
